- Pesticide #1 (from Rich Franklin)
- 1 gallon of water
- 1 pint of Isopropyl alcohol
- 1 pint of Formula 409
- Mix these together and use as a spray
- Pesticide #2 (From Joe Portnoy)
- 1 gallon of water
- 2 ounces lemon ammonia
- 2 ounces dish soap
- Mix together and spray plants periodically or when you see bugs
- Fungicides
- Fungicide #1
- 2 liter bottle of clear soda (7up or Sprite)
- 5 oz. Listerine mouthwash
- Mix together (and presumably you spray this on the plants)
- Fungicide #2 (heard of this one in several places and in articles for black rot on leaves and roots
- Cut the black back with a razor blade until you see all green tissue
- Sprinkle the open wound liberally with cinnamon
